I can’t tell you how many emails and tweets I’ve received from Alexandria food truck fans wondering why food trucks don’t visit them (answer: the local government has banned them).

But, thanks to the Hilton @ Alexandria Mark Center, food trucks will serve in Alexandria from 11am – 1:30pm every Thursday in August!  Complementary parking is available in the retreat parking lot.  And, this series of events will also support the Give Kids the World charity by donating 10% of proceeds as well as offering $2 ice cream scoops.  The Hilton is located at: 5000 Seminary Rd, Alexandria, VA 22311  The event series kicks off this Thursday, August 1!
