Foodies with discerning tastes do not have to wait until the City of Alexandria’s food truck trial period kicks in on July 1 to taste some of the best that area food trucks have to offer.

DMV Food Truck Week kicks off with the inaugural Alexandria Food Truck Rodeo on June 6, hosted by the West End Business Association. The daylong festival features face painting for the kids, watermelon-eating contest, beer corral by Port City Brewing Company, and great DMV Food Trucks (listed below).
