The Washington Post reported the results of Saturday’s City Council meeting in Alexandria whereby food trucks would be allowed to serve in the city, but only on off-street private property. The 16-month trial will begin on July 1st, 2014.
While the vote falls short of full access vending on Alexandria’s public streets, it does bring some sanity to the city which prohibited food trucks from even serving on one’s private property.
