The chicken had such a delightful and unique flavor! The fish taco was incredibly remarkable! This was the best food truck meal I have had in a long while. The food tasted fresh and was ready very quickly! I enjoyed the light, fluffy yellow rice, which had a delicate, yet delicious flavor. I also appreciated the tiny take-out cups for the hot sauce out on the counter because I love a spicy kick on my tacos. Do not be taken aback by the price for “only” two tacos because these tacos are extremely loaded, and with only two tacos I was so satisfied and super stuffed. It was more food than you would get even if you ordered three tacos from the other taco trucks.
I just love the fish taco they have a very fresh and welcoming taste. I look forward to eating it again. Cant wait until Surfside comes back to State

As far as the food goes, this is my absolute favorite truck--the fish tacos are simply fantastic. I still can't really give it more than 3 stars because the truck is otherwise so poorly run that it frustrates me to no end. They rarely bother to announce where they are and, when they do, they often don't do so until 12:30 or 1:00pm. I don't think they realize how much business they are missing out on as a result.

Surfside food truck is the mobile component of the Glover Park DC restaurant, Surfside. The food truck started serving at the Truckeroo events and finally launched serving from the streets of DC on October 12, 2011.
