From the makers of Dangerously Delicious Pie Truck and ChupacabraDC, PBJTruckDC will be serving up gourmet PB&J sandwiches! There will be 6 signature sandwiches, along with an ala cart menu with over 20 options to choose from. They will be serving up cardboard cartons of regular and chocolate milk too! 🙂

PB&J mmmm good, look forward to checking this one out 🙂
and a Big Thanks for the web site and keeping the Truck Foodies informed of what’s going on in our area.
It will be interesting to see how well they do. I’m not sure what the market is on this sort of sandwich or how many varieties they can do.
@Shashinka –
The problem I expect with this truck is going to be pricing. I haven’t been to Chuapcabra, but DDP is a tough pill for me to swallow. The pies are good, but they aren’t $7-ish/slice good. I might be able to justify $3-4, $5 if I’m feeling generous. I don’t know if that would cover their costs – maybe I’m not Northwest enough.
With PB&J, I’d be hard pressed to see them justifying more than a couple bucks, depending on bread and filling type/quantity/quality. I bring a PB&J from home every day, and using quality PB and locally made jelly is still pennies.
