SweetflowMobile provided food for a private event and it looks like it was around 19th & L St NW judging from the twitpic!

Zipping around DC for a private event from 1-4pm. We’re free after that, so tell us where to go & we’ll be there. ROCK

Look at what our hostesses wore for the private event! http://twitpic.com/25ugse

Some food trucks are hard core.  But, many have rainy day spots where customers can comfortably walk up and order from a truck without having to hold an umbrella.  For example, FLmeetsDC regularly seeks shelter from the rain under the Whitehurst freeway in Georgetown at Water St & Cecil Pl NW.

The tweets started rolling on at lunch time that Firebook Bakery called the cops on the Wheresauca Pangea truck.  A couple of tweets explained the situation:

PANGEA is looking 4 parking, but we need 2 keep a line in front of PANGEA or the ppl at Firehook bakery across the park will call the DCRA

@s1ncer1ty Firehook calls the cops every time we R thr! if thr is a no line the police move us. not sure theydont share R 1 luv vision!

So, I guess in DC your food truck needs to have a line in front of it, otherwise anyone can call the police and force you to move. Weird!
