O’Crepes has been off the road for a while and Capitol Greenz has been off the road for a month now, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that both trucks have been sold and are officially retired. But, the circle of life continues in the DC food truck world as both trucks are being prepped by their respective owners to become a Vietnamese and a Korean truck. 🙂

I’m bummed about Capital Greez. They served the best salads and had excellent paninis. I will miss them.
Capitol Greenz was one of my favorites. We need more salad food trucks.
So sad that Capitol Greenz is gone. They had excellent food, but mainly they were the nicest people! I wish them all the best and really miss them.
I have to concur that Capitol Greenz will be missed. Their soup, salad, and sandwiches were excellent!…More veggies out there, please!
I am very sad about Capitol Greenz. They were my favorite food truck. They were the friendliest people with the freshest and tastiest soups and salads around.
I hate to see Cap Greenz go. I really liked their panini. Sadly, they I never really had the chance to try too many of their offerings. Down side to working at Navy Yard with a 30 min lunch, I spent 20 minutes just walking to the metro station fro, so venturing past the installation was seldom an option.
Any case, they were a relatively new truck, having launched this past fall, but with five to seven new trucks a week debuting, expect to see this as a trend. There is only so much room in DC, and there’s a limit to how many trucks are going to be able to make it. Competition is only going to increase.
