I just spoke with the owners of the Red Hook Lobster Pound truck and discovered that their second planned truck is about to become a reality!  Expected to appear in about a month’s time, the second lobster food truck might be seamlessly swapped in as the regular running lobster truck while the first generation truck is retooled.   Or, depending on how quickly the 2nd lobster serving team is trained, the 2nd truck could be launched as a full-blown second truck.

The only thing that is more certain is that the Red Hook Lobster Pound truck will be giving away 100 free whoopie pies to the first 100 customers each day this week.  🙂 Pies provided by a new brand, named Whoopsies.
