The pre-event starts at 2pm today (7/1) until the end of the USA match. Food trucks will be located at 14th and Penn NW.

Food trucks have long been serving on 7th St along-side the National Mall (just north of Independence Ave), and even though one could consider that street operated by the District, Park Police say otherwise.  Food trucks are required to get a separate permit to serve on the National Mall.  FOX 5 has more details.

Goodies Frozen Custard & Treats opens their brick-and-mortar on Saturday 6/21 (the official first day of Summer) at National Harbor! They are the 21st DC food truck to open a retail presence. 🙂

There is a new weekly food truck event in Clarendon, named Clarendon Truck Rally Thursdays! The event is organized by Link Locale, a co-working space for #entrepreneurs, #startups & #creatives in Arlington.  The 6/19 rally will include Willie’s Po’ Boy and Bada Bing.
