Today, Saturday June 11, the 2nd Annual Kingman Island Bluegrass & Folk Festival is being held in an interesting location.  Kingman Island is located in the middle of the Anacostia river and is accessed by parking in RFK stadium’s lot 6.  Then you walk across some bridges to get to the island.  It looks like the food trucks will have a way to drive and park on the island, so fans probably won’t have to leave the festival to grab a bite to eat!
