I'm eating Shrimp Fried Rice w/ Curry - read that as 3 different dishes in 1 bowl...Shrimp, Fried Rice & Curry. It is home-cooked food the way my Dad would make...I wish he would cook like this again. It's straightforward/honest, hot and good...the opposite of overwrought. Great customer service, smiling faces are never a bad thing on a Friday.

Stopped and got the Chicken Schnitzel today. This is the first time I have not been able to finish my meal off a food truck. Not because it was bad, but because of the LARGE portions. You get two huge chicken breasts, rice, and cabbage salad!! Now I know why he asked if I wanted extra gravy. GET IT!!

I will be returning and trying the curry the I sampled (then spilled on the bench). Very friendly and fast customer service too...

Fantastic, high quality ingredients and very fresh/appetizing presentation! The Schnitzel is an instant favorite and I'll look for the truck again soon. Fast, very friendly service. Excellent across the board! Thanks!

So food trucks are becoming more of a thing and I decided to try this out from curiosity. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was amazing! So flavorful and delicious I cannot rave about it enough. I'm used to paying almost twice the price for this and at a lesser quality at Zagat rated restaurants. Also the sauce! I don't know what it is, but it's amazing. And it's a known fact among my friends and family that I HATE sauce. Easily the best food I've had in DC....which is kind of sad since I've lived here all my life. And I eat out almost every night. Keep doing what you're doing and I can't wait to be back.

This was my first time at this truck but will not be my last. So many great offerings. I tried the Katsu Curry for the first time and it was AWESOME. Just the right amount of heat for me. The cook offered me a tasting of the Teriyaki Chicken while I waited. That will be the next thing I order. Food was very fresh and tasty. The gentleman taking the orders was very friendly and genuine. I will definite be back and highly recommend it.

I'm a very picky eater and would have thrown this away - wasted $11 yes- if this was not to my liking. (I've done it before :/ )
The food was delicious...very flavorful and fresh. The truck operators were very friendly and the service was fast but not to the point that the food was prepared without care.
As noted above, I had the chicken bowl but would like to try the schnitzel (spelling) next time.

As everybody knows, organic food tastes better than non-organic, and Hungry Heart's organic ingredients have SO much delicious FLAVOR compared to the food of many other trucks. Dishes are beautifully prepared and presented, and a HH lunch is also a serious bargain. I get a large amount of yummy food with a small amount of calories at a very fair price. Green tea is also fabulous--and the music coming out of the truck today was some rockin' R&B. Thank you, HH.

This was not my first choice for eating my lunch today. But man am i happy I did. I went really early so I got to sample some of the other dishes to but I settled on the Shrimp fried rice. The food was great and the shrimp was a little over cooked but the taste was amazing. The taste was something sweet.

I suggest you try this truck. I hope i get to enjoy there food again very soon.

The food was awesome. I loved it. Can't wait to get some of this again. Had for the first time on 12/6/2013.

Since this was my first adventure with food trucks I was VERY selective. The owner of the Hungry Heart food truck was such a great salesman...I had to try the shrimp fried rice. He also gave me a sample. It was delicious. The veggies are a nice touch. As I walked around to check out the other food trucks, I couldn't get that awesome taste out of my mouth. I was sold! I look forward to my next "shrimp fried rice" experience. Keep up the good job!
