The veteran District Taco food truck is opening its first brick & mortar restaurant today! The address is 5723 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22207.
Today marks the first time in DC food truck history where a food truck has given rise to a full-time brick and mortar restaurant. I hope to visit the restaurant soon to provide a review. But in the mean time, TBD.com member blogger ARLnow has some photos and info to share!
Actually, it is not the first DC cart/truck to give rise to a brick and mortar spot. Check out Pupatella in Ballston. It was a cart first, now it’s a restaurant.
Have been to both the Pupatella cart and restaurant. Also think they were the first to make the transition.
