Come dine at 21 of DC’s best food trucks while sipping your favorite adult beverage, enjoying some music and great weather! Free admission at the DC Fairgrounds, located directly across from the Navy Yard / Ballpark metro entrance. Now, until 11pm!
Tomorrow is the last Truckeroo of the year! From 11am – 11pm, 21 of DC’s finest food trucks will be serving lunch, happy hour and dinner with live music, plenty of seating, adult beverages, games and free admission! Truckeroo is located at the DC Fairgrounds, which is located directly across from the Navy Yard / Ballpark metro entrance (Half St and M St SE). Not only will this be the last Truckeroo of the season, but it may be the last big food truck event of 2012, until things heat back up next spring.

You may have noticed a couple of new Montgomery County, MD trucks appearing on the map, Banh Mi Annie and Mesob On Wheels.
Banh Mi Annie is a very reasonably priced short trailer that serves sandwiches and lunch boxes along with eggrolls and sweet iced tea and coffees.
Mesob On Wheels is an Ethiopian cuisine truck with an extensive selection of curry dishes.

The DC Food Truck Association posted a note to their website reminding fans that they will start collecting 10% sales tax starting Oct 1st as a result of the passage of the Vendor Sales Tax and Collection and Remittance Act of 2012.
This means that fans may potentially experience price increases at food trucks operating in the District on Monday.
Meatball Nation will be coming to DC in mid-October, serving Gourmet Meatball Sliders (vegetarian options also available). See their page for more info + links!
The DC Food Truck Association continues to serve every Ward of the city, and today establishes Food Truck Tuesdays at the Department of Housing and Community Development, located in Ward 8 @ Martin Luther King Jr. Ave and Good Hope Road SE. The partnership with Councilmember Barry and the Department of Housing and Community Development will deliver food trucks for the next 6 weeks. Today (9/25) we have Goode’s Mobile Kitchen and Curbside Cupcakes serving!

This Saturday at Union Market (1309 5th Street NE, NoMa Metro – red line) from 11am to7 pm, the DC Food Truck Association is hosting Truckoberfest! Here is the Facebook event page. In addition to dining at DC’s best food trucks (and sampling an adult beverage at the Microbrew Biergarten), there will be live music, a contest to win 50 free food truck meals and a book signing by former Washington Wizards Forward Etan Thomas for his book “Fatherhood: Rising to the Ultimate Challenge.”
